The famous ‘Harris Tweed’ was founded in 1846 when the Countess of Dunmore commissioned a farmer, on the distant island Harris, the creation with Tweed pattern of the family mantle. From that outstanding dress, tinted, yarn, woven and completely finished by hand with pure virgin wool the Countess has created a product to spin at the factory and sell in London and all around. Since then the Harris Tweed has become a valuable dress, used worldwide.
The collection includes the variation in the color of natural wood with colored weaving, which crosses the pattern at regular intervals, in either a blue or dark red. It is provided only with the version of color coat on individual planks of engineering Oak for a simple and quick installation. In this case, the design can be reduced until you get to such a small texture to replicate the original of tailor fabrics.
